We will begin our trip in Tanzania. Once we arrive in Kahama, we will start our project work right away. During the 2 weeks volunteering in Kahama, we will be working on Phase 3 of building the community center. More details to come on Phase 3.  Students will receive 60 volunteer hours for this project.

Kahama offers an incredible experience that goes beyond the hard work of building a community center. It allows you to immerse yourself in a fun and kind culture. Becoming a part of this community is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have!

Turkey is one of the most historically significant places in the world.  Spanning both Europe and Asia, Turkey has a rich history, beautiful architecture. interesting culture and heritage spanning thousands of years and great food.

It's impossible to see and experience all of Turkey in two weeks; however, we will have time to visit some of the most fascinating places the country has to offer.  Every day will be a new adventure .

So, what does 2 weeks in Turkey look like?

ISTANBUL: Explore the vibrant city of Istanbul over three unforgettable days with the Istanbul City Pass. Students can enjoy a rich array of attractions, including the Hagia Sophia and the iconic Blue Mosque. We will also take a scenic Bosphorus Boat Cruise and take in stunning views of the city's skyline. Plus, gain access various museums and unique experiences that showcase Istanbul's rich history and culture.

ROAD TRIP: Get ready for an unforgettable 9-day road trip as we explore some of's most iconic destinations! Our journey will take us through ancient ruins of Ephesus, the legendary city of Troy, and vibrant streets of Izmir. We'll continue our adventure in the stunning landscapes of  Anatolia, marvel at the natural wonders of Pamukkale, and finish in the breathtaking region of Cappadocia. Each promises unique experiences and memories that will last a lifetime!

  • Istanbul is full of fun things to do. The city pass will offer a variety of passes.  Fun add-ons to think about: Turkish Bath, Spa, Hot Air Balloon ride in Cappadocia. We will also spend time in the Grand Bazaar and do some shopping at Taksim Square

  • In Turkey most meals are not covered simply because we will spread out during the day into small groups to do excursions and because of the vast variety of foods. This gives travelers the opportunity to explore the cuisine they are interested in.
